Our Philosophy

We believe all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, learning differences, and neurodiverse brains can learn skills to increase their personal level of independence.

Our Methods

We use evidence-based, research-backed strategies in all our resources. All resources are developed by licensed and credentialed professionals, because expert intervention helps increase independence.

Our Approach

There is no time to waste when teaching independent living skills, which is why we created our resources to address real-life problems and situations we’ve seen first-hand while supporting people with disabilities.

"My daughter would not be thriving today in her own apartment if it weren't for Accessible Adulthood."

"My wife and I weren't sure we would be able to teach our autistic son the skills he needed to move out, but the parent resources were easy to follow, provided example scripts of what to say, details on how to teach specific tasks. They helped our confidence in teaching our son, who is now successfully living with a roommate in an apartment."
