WHO WE ARE
The Accessible Adulthood team of professionals are experienced occupational therapists, special educators, employment service providers, job coaches and other related service providers. Our team has worked with individuals with varying learning differences and disabilities, meeting his or her own unique capabilities, and supporting them to achieve their goals.
MEANINGFUL BACKGROUNDS
We’ve worked with individuals across age groups and in numerous settings. Our team is experienced with age groups from pre-school to post-secondary college programs for students with intellectual disabilities, and on to adults living in residental supportive living homes.
We’ve supported children to adulthood and now focus on supporting young adults with transition to adulthood. We’ve worked in clinics, K-12 public schools, college transition programs, supported living facilities; job settings in food & beverage, hotel & tourism, education, retail, history museums; on public transit, in airports, in grocery stores, and as roommates with someone with a disability.

PARENTS ARE AMAZING! YOU are the first teachers your child ever learned from and YOU are capable of supporting your child to live a full and independent life! We’re just here to help. Our resources help you and your child access a fulfilling adulthood by providing life skills instruction in 6 essential areas: in the home, in the community, jobs and finances, friends and social skills, technology, and wellness.
